ADÈLE SWEETLOVE
Adèle Sweetlove (b. 2000, Belgium) is a visual artist based in Brussels. Her practice is site-responsive, shaped by the rhythms and histories of place. She is drawn to what remains hidden or goes unnoticed, exploring the shifting boundaries between the visible and the invisible. Working across disciplines, she allows each idea to guide her choice of material and form. With a particular interest in glass, she explores its material qualities and possibilities as part her artistic practice.
Since 2025, Adèle has been a member of Kassé Collective, a group of artists and designers. The collective was given the opportunity to transform a Brussels townhouse into a centre of creativity and complete freedom. With this building, Kassé Collective provides artists and creatives with a space to showcase their work and contribute to sustaining Brussels’ cultural sector.

Honeysuckle & Tulip (1876) (2026)
perforated acrylic
112,5 x 178 cm
at Kassé, Brussels (BE)
Curated by Karel Op ‘t Eynde
Installation views by Silvia Cappellari“William Morris’s 1876 wallpaper motif Honeysuckle & Tulip is reinterpreted, a decorative pattern popularized in the Victorian interior, where floral wallpaper hid arsenic within the home.
The florals are translated into a system of perforations cut into metallic acrylic; an image of nature, but in a way that has been flattened, repeated and technically processed. The outside is welcomed on the condition that it no longer behaves like itself. The perforations are based on the exterior filter of a Dyson air purifier. Through these, air can move between the exhibition space and an adjacent enclosed room. On the other side, the collaborative work of the three artists 𝘋𝘺𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘳 𝘏𝘰𝘵+𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘏𝘗𝘐 (2026) continuously filters the air in a space where mold has permanently infested the walls.”
